Who we are

Senforma operates this website and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For any privacy matter, you can reach us at [email protected].

What this policy covers

This policy applies to senforma.com, our waitlist and your communications with us. Access to the Senforma software is currently limited to invited participants. Before the software becomes generally available, we will publish a dedicated policy explaining how it handles information.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need for the purposes described in this policy:

• Waitlist registration. Your email address, the language of the page, the date and time you joined and gave your consent, and the version of the consent wording you accepted. We do not ask for your name.
• Messages you send us. Your email address, the content of your message and anything you choose to include.
• Technical information. When you visit the website, our hosting and security providers automatically process information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is needed to deliver the website and to protect it from misuse.

The description box on our home page is there for you to explore the idea. What you type in it stays in your browser: it is not sent to us and is not part of your waitlist registration.

Signing in

Where sign-in is required, we use Clerk to verify your identity and maintain your session. A first sign-in may create a Clerk account. Depending on the method you choose, Clerk and the identity provider may process your name, email address and provider account identifier. The website checks your session; the waitlist separately stores only the email you explicitly enter and your consent. A missing email or a private relay address does not automatically subscribe you. Identity information is managed by Clerk separately from the waitlist retention period. To request access, correction or deletion of your sign-in information, contact [email protected]; we may need to verify your identity.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. We use only these cookies:

• A language preference cookie, set when you choose a language, so that the site remembers your choice. It lasts up to 12 months.
• Strictly necessary cookies from our authentication provider, Clerk, which manages sign-in sessions. Blocking these cookies can prevent sign-in where the website requires it.
• Security cookies that our network and security provider, Cloudflare, may set to tell people from automated traffic and to protect the website from attacks. They are not used for advertising or to follow you across websites.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Your language choice may not be remembered, and pages requiring sign-in may be unavailable.

How we use information

• To keep your place on the waitlist and, with your consent, to email you about the launch of Senforma or the opening of early access. We will not use your email address for unrelated marketing.
• To reply to your messages and handle your requests.
• To operate and secure the website, including preventing spam and abuse.
• To comply with our legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Legal bases

Where data protection laws such as the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation apply, we rely on your consent for your waitlist registration and the emails it allows; on our legitimate interests in replying to you and in operating and protecting our website; and on compliance with our legal obligations. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it.

Your waitlist registration

Signing in and joining the waitlist are separate steps. Signing in may create a Clerk identity account; joining the waitlist does not give access to the software. Signing in alone is not consent to receive launch emails, and we do not send a waitlist confirmation email. We will email you only about the launch of Senforma or the opening of early access, and every such email will include a simple way to unsubscribe. To leave the waitlist at any time, write to [email protected] from the address you registered.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website: our hosting provider (Railway), our network and security provider (Cloudflare), our authentication provider (Clerk), our email provider and, when we send waitlist emails, an email delivery provider. Every visit to the website passes through Cloudflare's network, which delivers the website and protects it from attacks and misuse. These providers process information on our behalf, for the purposes described in this policy. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Internal signup notices

When signup notifications are enabled, Senforma uses Resend to send an internal message to [email protected] containing the registered email address, registration language and time. This message is not sent to the subscriber. Message data is held by Resend according to its service terms, and a separate copy is stored in our private email mailbox. Deleting a waitlist registration does not automatically delete these other copies. Contact [email protected] to request their deletion, subject to applicable legal obligations.

International transfers

Senforma serves people around the world, and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

How long we keep information

• Waitlist registrations: up to 12 months from the date you join. After that, the registration expires, we no longer use it and it is deleted in our routine maintenance. You can ask us to remove it sooner at any time.
• Messages: for as long as we need to handle your enquiry and to keep a reasonable record of our communication.
• Abuse prevention: anonymous request counts, which contain no email or IP address, for no more than two days.
• Technical logs: for the limited periods set by our hosting and security providers.

Security

We protect personal information with encryption in transit, by limiting access to authorised personnel, and by collecting as little as possible. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to act quickly if a problem occurs.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected] from the address your request concerns. We may ask you to confirm the request, and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the data protection authority where you live or work. In Israel, this is the Privacy Protection Authority.

Children

Our website and waitlist are not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Senforma develops. We will post the updated version on this page and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use waitlist registrations, we will highlight it here before it takes effect.
